Crochet Christmas Dish Towel Set

Inspiration

It is time to celebrate Christmas in July with this beautiful crochet dish towel and potholder set. This towel and potholder set is easy and quick to make. I used a simple moss stitch pattern and I was done within no time.

This towel and potholder can be an excellent last gift for friends and family and can be used for any occasion such as a wedding, birthday, and even housewarming gift. You will only need to change the colors to march the occasion

This Christmas dish towel set is part of the Christmas in July Holiday Decor Blog Hop hosted by Claire of E’claire Makery. Several designers are participating in this blog hop where different designers share a pattern each day for free.

Below is a sneak peek of the designs in this Christmas in July Holiday Decor Blog Hop.

Yarn

I used Yarn Bee Fundamental Cotton 100% Mercerized Cotton 164 yds (150 m),  3.52 oz (100 g in White and Lipstick Red and I Love This Cotton 100% Cotton 180 yds (165 m), 3.5 oz (100 g). I used 2 different type of yarns because I could not find the exact colors I wanted in either of them by itself.

This is the first time I have used both yarns. I am glad I used both of them so that I could compare.

I think for the towel, I would go with the Yarn Bee because of its texture and ability to absorb more water.I also believe it has more durability given the fact that towels are more in contact with water than things like coasters and placemats.

I would use the I Love This Cotton yarn mainly for table linens, placemats, coasters, and garments. This is because the yarn is on the softer side and things like placemats and coasters are not in contact with water at all times. Also, I personally prefer ofter garments and therefore this yarn is perfect
