The scarf is made in one piece and then sewn together into a circle.. The pattern goes by fast and uses a minimal amount of yarn. The pattern uses basic crochet stitches of single crochet, slip stitch, and double crochet.

I used Big Twist Value 100% Acrylic worsted weight, (weight 4) yarn in Light Rose
This was my first time to use this yarn and I was surprised on how good it was to work with this yarn and how the cowl turned out. I have been hestating to use the yarn but now I have changed my mind. I will definitely use it again.
Comparable yarn to Big Twist Value Yarn are Premier Yarns Just Tweed, Herrschners Worsted 8, Bernat Super Value, Loops & Threads Impeccable, and Big Twist Yarns Heather.

Notes
The pattern uses US Standard Terms
Ch 3 at the beginning of the row counts as a st.
The cowl in worked flat in rows and then sewn together.
For a longer cowl, add more sts to the starting ch.
Pattern Instructions
Ch 115 (Multiples of 2 plus 1)
Row 1: sc in 2nd and each st to end, turn (114).
Row 2: ch 2, dc in next st, sl st in next st, rep from * to end, turn.
Row 3: Ch 3, dc in 2nd st and each st to end, turn.
Rows 4-31: Rep rows 2 & 3
Row 32: Rep row 2
