Simple Crochet Hair Scrunchy

Inspiration

Have you ever made a crochet scrunchie? I can finally say I have. This is my first crochet hair tie pattern design and I can say I really enjoyed making it.

This hairband pattern is easy and quick, perfect for both beginners but still enjoyable for advanced crocheters.

I love hair scrunchies as I believe they always come in handy. That is why I always make sure that I have one either in my purse or car where I can reach it in a moment’s time.

Hair scrunchies can be worn with any fashion or on any occasion. You can wear it going to the office, to play sports, to school, go shopping, hang out at home, you name it.

Add style and elegance to your fashion with this stylish yet simple and easy crochet hair scrunchie

Yarn

I used WeCrochet Comfy Color Mist in Chive Blossom and Jean Jacket, which are worsted weight yarns, and Knitpicks Cotlin Reflections 7 in Polar Blue which is a weight 3 (DK) yarn. The Scrunchies turned out well in both yarns and are perfect for any weather. I have used both yarns before to make a scarf and two tops and love all of them. You can see them below:

To get the texture or feel of these hair scrunchies, you can use any cotton or cotton blend yarn in DK or worsted weight yarn.
